Metal Detector Digital Video Add-on

Description

We used data generated by the PMD2 and processed it to increase definition from the flashing signals shown on the LED display supplied with the gate.

This system would work both dynamically as the subject walked through the gate allowing the guard to view the subject and the position of metal, and also statically with the information stored away on a computer hard drive.

A software package was developed as an aid to making a fast historical search of data. This would enable searches to be limited to defined perioads and avoid time consuming viewing of many pictures when looking for a subject or incident.

Our original clients required a clandestine approach so that suspects could be followed and detained discreetly (as opposed to challenging a suspect at a gate or doorway).

They also required the gate to be installed discreetly so that it was not obvious that the subject was being scanned.
