A DC/DC converter takes one DC input voltage and produces a different, regulated DC output — stepping 24V vehicle systems down to 12V accessory rails, boosting 12V battery banks to 24V or 48V loads, or providing isolated auxiliary supplies for control electronics on high-voltage buses.

What to look for
